The Boeing 737 was previously used by Indonesian airline Mandala Air, which stopped flying in 2014.
The seats and flying instruments have been removed — and 31-year-old Russian entrepreneur Felix Demin is converting the aircraft into a minimalist two-bedroom villa.

Renderings show Demin's plan for the villa, which is under construction. It includes a terrace on the aircraft's wing.
There's also an outdoor infinity pool with views over the Indian ocean.

The property, called Private Jet Villa by Hanging Gardens, is located on a clifftop near Nyang Nyang beach in Bali, Indonesia.
It's already listed on travel website Expedia for 114 million Indonesian Rupiah, or about $7,320, a night.

Demin's design includes a bathroom complete with a circular stone bathtub, in what was the cockpit.
Demin says it took an e week to move the plane to the clifftop in September 2021 after securing the necessary permits.

The aircraft was transported in separate sections that were then reconnected on the clifftop.
"Externally and structurally, this is a jet aircraft that we have turned into a luxury hotel," said Felix Demin.

Investors in the property include UK-based Russian businessman Alexander Lebedev, who met Demin during a trip to Bali with his family.
