A new upstart airline flying between wintery Canada and sun-baked Las Vegas and Florida sports a smiling emoji corporate logo named Frank that can change moods depending on his location in the world.

Canada Jetlines launched in September with a single plane ferrying passengers between Toronto and Calgary.

Jetlines plans to add Vancouver routes in December and Nevada and Florida itineraries in January.

The low-cost carrier expects brisk growth over the next few years flying from its Toronto hub to sunny leisure destinations in the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Jetlines started service with a single Airbus A320 aircraft. A second leased plane is expected to be delivered in December.

Jetlines plans to grow its fleet to 15 A320s by 2025.

The Toronto, Ontario-based carrier uses Toronto Pearson International Airport as its hub.

The airline's inaugural flight flew from YYZ to Calgary International Airport on September 22. Jetlines flies biweekly between Toronto and Calgary.

Twice-weekly direct service from Toronto to Vancouver International Airport starts December 9.

Jetlines will launch its first US flights on January 19 to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Toronto-Vegas route will run four days a week.

Service to Melbourne Orlando International Airport also starts January 19 – getting sun-bound passengers within 50 miles of Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld theme parks in the Orlando area.

The all-economy single-class cabin configuration has 174 seats.

The airline's JetLite and JetPlus classifications charge extra for seat selections and checked bags.

JetFlex includes a seat selection and a free checked bag while JetLines offers extra legroom and two free checked bags.

The bright orange and baby blue plane liveries express Jetlines bold personality and goal of making flying fun, according to the airline.
