<ul><li><strong>Last month, ED sleuths raided <keyword id="6672551" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="wazirx" source="Orion">WazirX</keyword>'s parent company <keyword id="14679518" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="zanmai-lab" source="Orion">Zanmai Lab</keyword> and froze assets worth Rs 64.67 crore. </strong></li><li><strong>The ED has been conducting an investigation of 16 fintech companies and Instant loan apps.</strong></li><li><strong>WazirX is India's largest crypto exchange and has over 12 million users.</strong></li></ul><br />Crypto exchange WazirX on Monday said the <keyword id="6357808" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="enforcement-directorate" source="Orion">Enforcement Directorate</keyword> (ED) has allowed it to use its bank accounts after it cooperated with the investigators by providing them all the necessary details, information and documents of the alleged accused companies who used the WazirX platform.<br /><br />The company said in a statement that due to the active cooperation extended by WazirX and active anti-money laundering (AML) checks that led to the blocking of suspicious accounts, "ED has unfreezed the bank accounts of WazirX".<br /><br />"WazirX is now in a position to continue its banking operations as usual," said the crypto exchange.<br /><br />Last month, ED sleuths raided WazirX's parent company Zanmai Lab. It searched the premises and froze its bank assets worth ₹ 64.67 crore "for assisting accused instant loan App companies in laundering of fraud money via purchase and transfer of virtual crypto assets".<br /><br />The ED has been conducting an investigation of 16 fintech companies and Instant loan apps, some of them happened to use WazirX platform.<br /><br />The company clarified that it has no association with any of the alleged accused fintech and instant loan app entities which appear to be the subject of ED investigation and "is carrying out the <keyword id="12656622" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kyc/aml" source="Orion">KYC/AML</keyword> checks despite having no legal obligation to do so".<br /><br />"WazirX is like any other intermediary whose platform may have been misused. After an in-depth internal investigation, WazirX noticed that most of the users whose information was sought by ED were already identified as suspicious by WazirX internally and were already blocked in 2020-2021," said the company.<br /><br />WazirX is India's largest crypto exchange and has over 12 million users.<br /><br />Several crypto exchanges are under the ED radar for their alleged involvement in money laundering of around ₹ 10 billion.<br /><br />Late last month, crypto exchange <keyword id="10245463" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="coinswitch-kuber" source="Orion">CoinSwitch Kuber</keyword>'s CEO Ashish Singhal said that the company fully cooperated with the ED officials in <keyword id="6354321" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="bengaluru" source="Orion">Bengaluru</keyword>, after reports surfaced that ED raided its premises over alleged money laundering under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.<br /><br />Singhal said that the company's engagement with the ED was not related to any money laundering inquiry.<br /><br />"Enforcement Directorate-Bengaluru has been engaged with us with respect to functioning of our crypto platforms/exchanges. ED allows WazirX to use bank accounts frozen after raids

<ul><li>Fashion retail startup <keyword id="319719" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Myntra">Myntra</keyword>’s <keyword id="3197885" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="End-of-Reason-Sale">End of Reason Sale</keyword> started on June 21 and concluded on June 25. </li><li>During the sale, Myntra saw a 3X rise in the traffic to its platform.</li><li>It also acquired 4.8 lakh new customers.</li></ul>Indian fashion retail startup Myntra just concluded its annual End of Reason Sale and it has many reasons to gloat. Over 2 million customers bought 9 million items on the site, across the five-day sale. <br /><br />Myntra’s traffic went up by three times on its platform during the sale period. It also registered a whopping 7,100 orders per minute at its peak. <br /><br />“So far, we have acquired 4.8 lakh new customers and a significant portion of the sales came from tier 2 and 3 cities. With 12,500 <em>kirana </em>stores under the MENSA ((Myntra Extended Network Through Store Activation) network supporting last mile deliveries, we have been delivering over 6 lakh shipments per day,” said Amar Nagaram, head of Myntra Jabong. <br /><br />The company also said that members of its loyalty program – Myntra Insiders – contributed to about 42% of the overall sales. <br /><br />Interestingly, Myntra’s in-house brand Roadster sold 1.35 million products. In May 2019, Myntra also launched an offline store <a href="https://inc42.com/buzz/myntra-self-checkout-roadster-go-store-bengaluru/">Roadster Go </a>in Bengaluru, and plans to launch 100 such offline stores in the next two years.<br /><br />Myntra is a part of one of India’s biggest e-commerce startup <keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword>, after the latter acquired it in 2014. <br />

<br />Myntra’s End of Reason Sale (EORS) started with a bang as it sold 1.77 lakh items, with over 2.2 lakh new customers signing up, in the first 10 minutes of the sale. <br /><br />The fashion platform is looking at acquiring 7 lakh new customers this edition and is expecting a 50% increase in traffic on its platform than last year. <br /><br />The current edition has also brought in gamification, with four games - Brand Hunter, Logo Mania, Crossword and Santa Delivery, that customers played to earn points before the sale went live. The games were played by 6.5 lakh users.<br /><br />Myntra also on-boarded 50 influencers, the highest so far, to expand its marketing reach. <br /><br />Harish Narayanan, Head – Marketing, Myntra Jabong further shared how the platform ramped up its marketing game to grow the user base, increase brand salience and engagement on the platform. <br /><br />“We have increased the number of creatives we made by 10X. We will be reaching 300 million users with our combined marketing plan this time,” says Narayanan. <br /><br />In a first, 50 new brands were launched on Myntra, ahead of the mega sale event, offering shoppers the widest selection till date on the platform. Myntra has also scaled up the selection of its private brands with 1.5 lakh styles across apparel, accessories and footwear. <br /><br />Key categories with expected high demand include winter wear, women’s ethnic and western wear, denims, street wear, sports and beauty. The 11th edition will end on December 25. <br /><br />Myntra has also partnered with over 35 brands to enable deliveries directly from their stores resulting in a wider selection and faster deliveries for customers during EORS. To increase the consumer's convenience, Myntra partnered with 200 tailors to offer alteration services in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata and opened 20 experience centres across the country to provide value-added services such as pick up, returns, trial rooms and alterations.<br /><br />The highly successful Kirana model, under MENSA (Myntra Extended Network for Service Augmentation) will cater to 70% of the overall deliveries, through 15,000 stores across the country. In addition to this, there are 9 forward deployment centres around high-demand clusters, to enhance logistical capabilities. Its mission is to "identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity," according to its site, <a href="http://www.mensa.org.uk/">mensa.org.uk</a>.</p><p>Getting into the elite society is notoriously difficult and is a privilege reserved for those who score in the top 2% in its famous IQ test.</p><p>According to an <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/study-tips-saanya-verma-11-year-old-who-got-a-perfect-mensa-iq-test-score-2016-1">11-year-old Londoner</a> who earned a perfect score on the test, it's "written in a way that any person can do it, you don't need to worry at all.</p><p>We're sceptical of her claims, but to get an idea of how likely you are to get into Mensa, the organisation sent Business Insider some sample questions. <strong>The answers are at the bottom of the article.</strong></p><p><em> The questions are similar in style to those which are likely to be included in an accredited IQ test. Although answering the mini test will not show an accurate IQ score, it can however give a rough indicator of how well you may do if you attempted a Mensa IQ Test. </em></p>

Now she is a member of the elite high IQ society British Mensa, which has 20,000 members, only 1,500 of which are under the age of 18.</p><p>"I did not feel that it was hard or easy but just gave my best and had a great experience," Verma said of taking the test.</p><p>There are two IQ test papers that qualify you for Mensa: The Cattell III B and the Culture Fair III A. An IQ score in the top 2% on either test will get you into the group.</p><p>Verma got the most points possible on both tests. She got a score of 162 on the Cattell IIIB scale and a score of 142 on the Culture Fair scale. That means she is not only in the top 1% of test-takers, but she is also one of the youngest people to achieve this mark.  </p><p>In a database search, Mensa found only three 10-year-olds who got a score of 162. The Mensa test cannot be taken by anyone who is younger than age 10-and-a-half. </p><p>"There may be a few others that I didn't find, but this will give you an indication of how few there are," a spokeswoman told Business Insider.</p><p><span><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Photo courtesy of Sunita Pati</span></p><p class="caption">Verma likes a lot of subjects, including math, English, French, science, and drama.</p></div><p></p></div></div>In 2013, </span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/girl-has-higher-iq-than-einstein-2013-8">an 11-year-old from Northhampton, Cerys Cooksammy-Parnell, got a score of 162</a><span>. And last September, </span><a href="http://www.techinsider.io/lydia-sebastian-earns-a-perfect-mensa-score-2015-9">a 12-year-old from Langham, England, also aced the test</a><span>.</span></p><p dir="ltr">Verma is currently a <span class="il">year</span> <span class="il">7</span> student at an independent school in the northwest London area. When it comes to studying for her regular course work, she has a few tips for success. </p><p dir="ltr">"Don't get distracted," Verma tells Business Insider. She also says to "annotate as much as you can."</p><p dir="ltr">"Work in in an environment where you are comfortable in your surroundings," Verma says, "so you don't feel panicked and you can focus."</p><p dir="ltr">She also has some advice for others who are thinking about the Mensa IQ test. </p><p dir="ltr">"You don't need to worry at all," she says. An 11-year-old who got a perfect score on the Mensa IQ test shares her best study tips

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><ul><li><strong>Vic Mensa spoke with Business Insider about his experiences of working with Jay-Z, Pharrell, and No I.D. on his debut studio album, "The Autobiography."</strong></li><li><strong>Among other topics, Mensa discussed how he plans to save lives on the south side of Chicago through his new non-profit foundation.</strong></li></ul><p>The past few years of Vic Mensa's career have the 25-year-old rapper set on a distinctive path to stardom.&#xa0;</p><p>In 2017, Jay-Z and the legendary producer No I.D. served as the executive producers of Mensa's debut studio album, "The Autobiography," which also featured production from Pharrell Williams. A Roc Nation signee, Mensa followed the release of his album by opening for Jay-Z on the entirety of his 2017 "4:44 Tour."&#xa0;</p><p>In his music and outside of it, Mensa has become a dynamic voice on a host of social justice issues. He recently launched a non-profit foundation, <a href="https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/hip-hop/8247168/vic-mensa-savemoneysavelife-foundation-interview">SaveMoneySaveLife</a>, with the goal of combatting inequality in Chicago, his hometown. He also recently wrote an op-ed for Time criticizing Israel's treatment of Palestinians.&#xa0;</p><p>Mensa spoke with Business Insider in a phone interview on Friday, between soundchecks on a tour date in Toronto, and following his performance at Governors Ball music festival last weekend.</p><p>He&#xa0;discussed his experiences of working with Jay-Z, Pharrell, and No I.D., how he plans to save lives on the south side of Chicago, and what we can expect from his next LP.</p><p><em>This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.</em></p><p><strong>John Lynch: I got to see your set at Gov Ball. How did that Gov Ball performance compare to some of the other shows you've had this summer?</strong></p><p><strong>Vic Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>Gov Ball was actually really special. I felt like Gov Ball had a uniquely <em>strong</em> energy, you know? It kind of felt like a '90s Lollapalooza-type energy. I thought that it was an opportunity for me to say what I mean, to tell the world what I'm about. I always try to take performances as an opportunity to implant my spirit into the hearts and minds of anyone in a hundred-yard vicinity. And I think I got that across.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: On "<a href="https://genius.com/Vic-mensa-memories-on-47th-st-lyrics#note-12418057">Memories on 47th Street</a>," you talk about how you almost died sneaking into Lollapalooza in 2010. Eight years later, you're killing it at these summer festivals. What do these large-scale performances mean to you, as someone who almost died getting into a festival?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>Coming from Chicago, Lollapalooza is the one weekend of the summer when actual Chicagoans are kept out <em>[laughs].</em> You know, just monetarily, we didn't grow up with Lollapalooza tickets. Most people in Chicago don't grow up with Lollapalooza tickets. Situations led me to actually come very close to death getting into Lollapalooza. So when I'm able to step out on stage, and a huge crowd erupts at a festival in the summertime, that's special for me.</p><p>After I fell off the bridge at Lollapalooza, my father took me to Ghana. His dad's side of the family, their religion is Vodun, that's the original voodoo. So his uncle was like doing some incantations and pouring libations to the ancestors and the spirits, thanking them for my protection. At that moment I really felt like I was on this land alive, with a purpose, and for a reason. And I try to stand on that, live by that, especially when I get the opportunity to kind of be a ghost in these festivals where I could have been dead.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: On a similar note, opening for Jay-Z on this "4:44 Tour," what sort of wisdom is he imparting to you there about the game, or about touring in particular?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>Touring? I'll say the wisdom he gave to me is to focus on my mission. Don't be distracted by the trappings of the industry, and bickering and beef. To keep my line of sight tunnel visioned on my bigger purpose.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: I mean, like Jay and Kanye, you're one of the few artists who's been able to say, "<a href="https://genius.com/Vic-mensa-the-fire-next-time-lyrics#note-12385930">No I.D. on the track / Let the story begin</a>." How did that man allow you to tell your story on "The Autobiography"?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>Man, I am a No I.D. super-fan, so... [<em>pauses</em>]. I'm a No I.D.&#xa0;super-fan. Ever since the first Common albums. I mean, Common was and is like my favorite rapper. "<a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/0JKjuvDUPrnlblAZyB1Aje?si=zI75rCJgRmCYTn4TUt7QLg">Resurrection</a>," and "<a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/6nXto9rlPmmhdoUmGMKbtE?si=MxnQshZlSD-LdAiZTBkk_g">One Day It'll All Make Sense</a>," and "<a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/5CcW5rXAUdUUail7aaDwNi?si=GnhFzFbgT5WDPn57-l3mfQ">Can I Borrow a Dollar?</a>" sh-t. All that sh-t. That's the music that raised me, that I studied, and that I lived with, and that I laughed with, that I fought with, rode the bus with. So being able to learn from one of the masters like that felt like a true moment of fate, and also just like a blessing.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: My favorite track off the album is "Wings." How would you say the process of working with No I.D. compares to working with Pharrell, who you've collaborated with a couple times?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa: </strong>Pharrell... [<em>pauses</em>]. Pharrell is just one of the dopest collaborators of all time. I mean, he taught me so much before I ever met him, and helped to validate me as a skateboarding kid on the southside of Chicago who liked rock 'n' roll music. So getting in the studio with him, and really feeling his energy, having him give me real advice about life and sh-t, and also just him being a fan of my music, that meant everything.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: You were featured on "Life of Pablo," and you were also at that Madison Square Garden listening party for it in 2016, which was wild. I'm wondering how you think this new Kanye album rollout compares to the "Pablo" rollout. I mean, you might be biased because you were at MSG for that one.</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa: </strong>I don't really know much about the rollout. I just know that they're putting out seven song albums, which I like. That's all I know about the rollout, though.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Lynch: So, in your work with SaveMoneySaveLife, you're already actively helping the community of Chicago. What's your vision for it moving forward? What are you planning for it in the next couple years?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>We want to literally save a lot of lives by training and equipping a large number of people in first-aid response. We also want to bring seasoned mental-health professionals into Chicago Public Schools, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, in a way that allows them to really help the kids and not just rotate 20 schools once a week. And we have a program called "UniVerse" that is designed to really bridge the link between the black community and the Native American community. So, we've got a lot of things in the pipeline.</p><p>I'd like to have an ambulance force, in the way that Hasidic Jewish communities have, as a part of the StreetMedics training program. That's the goal of the StreetMedics program is to be able to have our own ambulance forces in our communities - that could go from Chicago, and export out to Detroit, and export out to Los Angeles and New York. Because across the board, our communities are underserved, and ambulances take longer to come get us. We die waiting for help, so we need to be able to help ourselves. So that's the long-term goal.</p><p><strong>Lynch: You had <a href="http://time.com/5095435/vic-mensa-palestine-israel-jerusalem/">a recent essay</a> on the plight of Palestinians in Time. I'm wondering what made you decide to go to Time with that in particular, or to write it even, as an opinion article?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>Well, I knew I was going to write an article when I was there, when I was asked by a man with a face of leather, in a circle of activists, artists, and poets, to go back to America and tell the world what I saw there. And to place pressure on the US to stop supporting Israel's oppression of the Palestinians. It was pretty much decided at that point, that I'd be going home and I'd be speaking about it in a significant way. I took it to a lot of places, and a lot of people were very hesitant, and sometimes, it was pointed out, flat-out "higher-ups" just being like, "No, you cannot speak about Palestine. You cannot speak against Israel." That's the power that Israel wields, especially in the music industry. So, I was lucky that I was able to get it with a very respected publication like Time Magazine.&#xa0;</p><p>They did me a favor, too, by making the headline "What Palestine Taught Me About American Racism," because my piece was originally titled "Nora's Tears." Nora is an old woman that I speak about in the piece whose home in Jerusalem has been a target for Israeli development for 30, 40 years, and they've been trying to kick her out of it and move Jewish people in. But Time Magazine changed my headline to be "What Palestine Taught Me About American Racism," which juxtaposes the Palestinian struggle with the undeniable American racist struggle. Because many people deny the Palestinian struggle. They deny them everything. They deny them humanity, they deny them the right to be on the land they were born in. They deny them the right to return to the homes that were stolen from them, to build Israel. But not many people deny that America is racist. That's pretty impossible at this point in time.</p><p><strong>Lynch: In my last question here, your new single, "Reverse," is a great track. I got to say I'm not a G-Eazy fan, but the way you use him there is pretty cold [<em>laughs</em>].&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:</strong> Thanks, bro.</p><p><strong>Lynch: How are you conceptualizing this next album? How are you thinking about it at this point?</strong></p><p><strong>Mensa:&#xa0;</strong>You know, whenever I get into making an album, it's always like a really self-reflective, self-expressive journey. And I'm learning about myself in real time. Putting in hard work on myself to really say the things that I want to say in music. So, expect something honest, personal.
