New Delhi, Ethnic apparel retailer <keyword id="1544918" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="sai-silks" source="Orion">Sai Silks</keyword> (Kalamandir) Ltd on Thursday said it has fixed a price band of Rs 210-222 per share for its Rs 1,201 crore initial share sale, which will open for public subscription on September 20. At the upper end of the price band, the IPO will fetch about Rs 1,201 crore. The bidding for the anchor investors will open on September 18. Investors can bid for a minimum of 67 equity shares and in multiples of 67 equity shares thereafter, the company said. The offer of Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Ltd (SSKL) comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 600 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) component of up to 2.70 crore equity shares by promoters and promoter entities. Under the OFS, Nagakanaka Durga Prasad Chalavadi, Jhansi Rani Chalavadi, Dhanalakshmi Perumalla, Doodeswara Kanaka Durgarao Chalavadi, Kalyan Srinivas Annam, Subash Chandra Mohan Annam and Venkata Rajesh Annam will be selling shares. The Hyderabad-based saree retailer's initial public offering (IPO) will conclude on September 22. Half of the public issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB), 15 per cent for non-institutional investors, and the remaining 35 per cent for retail investors. The company, which filed preliminary IPO papers with the markets watchdog in July, obtained its observation letter on November 7, an update with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) showed on Tuesday. In Sebi's parlance, obtaining its observation letter implies a go-ahead to float an IPO. Updater Services’ stock slips 5.3% on listing day

This is close to what the grey market had predicted — 46% listing gains. The company’s market cap is at ₹481 crore according to Bombay Stock Exchange. The fast moving electric goods (FMEG) company’s initial public offer saw a stellar subscription. The issue was subscribed 161 times the shares on offer. Both retail and institutional investors bid aggressively for the issue. While most of the IPOs that have debuted this year have given good listing gains, there have been a few aberrations like Updater Services and Yatra Online where stocks have fallen on listing. QIB rush. The IPO which is the first from the steel to power conglomerate in 13 years, was subscribed 37 times over the shares on offer. The Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) rushed into bid for the offer on the last day as this portion was subscribed 57 times. Retail and non-institutional investor portions received good response. The offer, unlike most others, is a completely fresh issue. The second largest private port operator in the country intends to use the proceeds to pay loans. The rest will be used towards capex to commission and expand projects, besides general corporate purposes. The offer fixed a price band of ₹113-119 per equity share. Long-term play say analysts The company expanded from one port in Mormugao in 2002 to nine ports as of June, 2023. Its ports are present in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka on the west coast, and Odisha and Tamil Nadu on the east coast. It also operates two port terminals under operations &amp; maintenance agreements in Fujairah Terminal and Dibba Port in the UAE. It also plans to expand its operations through brownfield and greenfield projects. It also has a third party cargo business in India and witnessed a compounded annual growth rate of 65% between FY21 to FY23. The company’s revenues and profits have been steadily growing for the last three years. Its total debt as of June 2034 is at ₹4,228 crore. “JSW Infra is well-positioned to benefit from the continued growth of the Indian economy. We think the company has diversified its cargo profile and geographical spread which have helped them to minimise the risk and ensure stability,said Prashanth Tapse, senior VP of research at Mehta Equities which recommends investors to ‘subscribe for long term’. “We like the way the company is strategically focusing on expanding its footprint in non-major ports which would help them to broaden their operations to provide fully integrated logistics solutions,”’ Tapse adds. An IPO note by Anand Rathi also says that JSW Infrastructure has strategically located assets at close proximity to JSW group customers and industrial clusters supported by a multi-modal evacuation infrastructure and predictable revenues. “At the upper price band, the company is valuing at P/E of 27x, with a marketcap of ₹2,49,900 million post issue of equity shares and return on net worth of 18.8%. We believe that valuations of the company are fairly priced and recommend a ‘subscribe-long term’ rating to the IPO,” said Anand Rathi.

Online bond platforms offering debt securities to non-institutional investors will now have to register as stock brokers in stock exchanges, the <keyword id="6355630" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="securities-and-exchange-board-of-india" source="Orion">Securities and Exchange Board of India</keyword> said in a circular. While online bond platforms provide an avenue for investors, particularly non-institutional investors to access the bond market, their operations were outside the SEBI's regulatory purview, the circular put out on Monday said. During the past few years, there has been an increase in the number of online bond platforms, offering debt securities, to non-institutional investors. Most of such platforms are fintech companies or are backed by stock brokers/SEBI registered intermediaries. There has been a significant increase in the number of registered users who have transacted through such platforms. "With the bond market offering tremendous scope for development,particularly in the non-institutional space, there is a need to place checks and balances in the form of transparency in operations and disclosures to the investors dealing with suchOBPs, measures for mitigation of payment and settlement risk, availability of redress mechanism in case of complaints, etc," the circular read. Thus, in order to streamline the operations of these platforms and to facilitate the participation of investors in the bond market, SEBI felt there was a need to provide a regulatory framework for the working of such platforms. The circular will come into force with immediate effect. A platform that fails to comply with any of the provisions of the circular, shall be liable for action under the <keyword id="4625796" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sebi-act" source="Orion">SEBI Act</keyword>. Qualified institutional buyer (QIB) and retail portions were subscribed twice over, while non-institutional investor portion was not fully subscribed. The price band of the issue has been fixed at ₹135-142 per equity share. The IPO comprised a fresh issuance of shares worth ₹602 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 12,183,099 shares. It had undertaken a pre-IPO placement of ₹62.01 crore by way of rights issue and allotted 2,627,697 shares of face value ₹1 each to its promoter, THCL in December 2022. ‘Can gain from industry tailwinds’ Yatra Online offers access to hotels, homestays, and other accommodations through its platform. It is a one-stop shop for travellers, offering vacation packages as well as visa facilitation, tours, sightseeing, shows, and events. Proceeds from the fresh issue will be utilised towards strategic investments, acquisitions, and inorganic growth, customer acquisition and retention, technology, and other organic growth initiatives and general corporate purposes. The company claims to be India’s largest corporate travel services provider in terms of number of corporate clients. It is the third largest online travel company in India among key online travel agency (OTA) players in terms of gross booking revenue and operating revenue for FY23. The company’s revenues have been growing steadily for the last three years and has turned profitable in FY23, after cutting its losses progressively over two years. At the upper price band, the company is valued at a market-cap to sales ratio of 5.8 times as per its FY23 earnings. Its peer EaseMyTrip is valued at 15.7 times, as per Anand Rathi Securities. “We believe that for Yatra there is a scope of business improvement on the back of industry tailwinds, brand recall and business scalability, resulting in expansion of the EBITDA margin from here on,” the report said, adding that it recommends a ‘subscribe’ rating for the long term.

The company, which is one of the leading realty firms in South India, had posted a net loss of Rs 23.27 crore in the year-ago period. Total income jumped nearly threefold to Rs 275.83 crore in the second quarter of the 2022-23 fiscal year, from Rs 94.23 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, <keyword id="58899" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shriram-Properties" source="Orion">Shriram Properties</keyword> said in a regulatory filing. Murali M, Chairman and Managing Director of Shriram Properties, said: "We are encouraged by the strong operational and financial growth as well as sustained earnings growth momentum seen since listing. This is reassuring and demonstrates the strength of our team and the operating platform." He said the company would remain focused on profitable growth by leveraging the strong project pipeline and market opportunities. "Improving operating leverage and stabilised DM (development management) business model should add further strength. We believe we are on the right path to delivering superior shareholder value in the coming years," said Murli. Shriram Properties Ltd primarily focuses on the mid-market and affordable housing categories. Its key markets include Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata which together account for over 88 per cent of its development activities. The company has delivered 33 projects with a saleable area of 19.5 million square feet, mostly in the cities of Bengaluru and Chennai. It has a strong development pipeline comprising 54 projects with an aggregate development potential of 54 million square feet, as of September 30, 2022. According to an update on Sebi's website on Monday, the regulator gave its final comments on the proposed Rs 492.81 crore-open offer on November 7. The offer will tentatively open on November 22 and close on December 5. The price fixed is Rs 294 per share, as per a recent regulatory filing by NDTV. The conglomerate, run by India's richest man <keyword id="111343" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="gautam-adani" source="Orion">Gautam Adani</keyword>, in August acquired a little-known company that lent over Rs 400 crore to NDTV's founders more than a decade ago in exchange for warrants that allowed the company to acquire a stake of 29.18 per cent in the newsgroup at any time. Post that, Vishvapradhan Commercial Pvt Ltd (VCPL) - the firm that <keyword id="76451" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="adani" source="Orion">Adani</keyword> group bought out - announced that it would launch an open offer on October 17 to buy an additional 26 per cent stake from minority shareholders of NDTV. However, the offer was delayed since Sebi had not given its approval to the open offer. VCPL along with AMG Media Networks and Adani Enterprises Ltd had proposed to acquire an additional 26 per cent or 1.67 crore equity shares at an offer price of Rs 294 per share. If fully subscribed, the open offer will amount to Rs 492.81 crore at a price of Rs 294 per share. "The decision to acquire NDTV was arrived at in furtherance of the Adani Group's objective to set up a credible next-generation media platform with an emphasis on digital and broadcast segments, and that NDTV is a suitable broadcast and digital platform to deliver on this vision," Adani Enterprises said in a regulatory filing in October. On Monday, shares of NDTV closed 1.99 per cent higher at Rs 365.85 on BSE and Rs 364.50 on NSE.
