New Delhi, At the <keyword id="362383" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Consumer-Electronics-Show">Consumer Electronics Show</keyword> (CES) 2021, HP has unveiled updated versions of its Elite Dragonfly business <keyword id="6367615" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Laptops">laptops</keyword> -- the <keyword id="10576329" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="dragonfly-max">Dragonfly Max</keyword> and Dragonfly G2 -- with 11th Gen Intel processors. Both the laptops will include 5G options, with AT&amp;T and T-Mobile networks supported in the US. The G2 comes in a full HD low-power version, a full HD edition with HP's Sure View privacy feature and a UHD option that supports HDR400 and goes up to 1,000 nits of brightness. HP includes a <keyword id="6548867" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="tile">Tile</keyword> track built into the laptops so you can track your laptop right in the Tile app, reports Engadget. Meanwhile, the <keyword id="26842" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Max">Max</keyword> is only available with a full HD, 1,000-nit display with a privacy shield built-in. The 13.3-inch Dragonfly G2 and Dragonfly Max will ship with 11th Gen Intel processors, with the i3 only available on the G2 and i5 and i7 processor options available on both. Both the devices can also be configured up to 32GB of <keyword id="17786" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="ram">RAM</keyword> and up to 2TB of M.2 SSD storage space. Consumers who want a better webcam will have to go for Dragonfly Max which includes a 5MP sensor along with four wide-array mics for improved voice pickup during calls. There's also now a button on the keyboard to deactivate the camera instead of a physical slider in the top bezel to cover it. HP has not yet announced the pricing yet. HP Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2 launched with Intel's 11th gen processors

There have been a ton of announcements and product unveilings already, and one area that’s seen several new launches is laptops. At CES 2022, brands including HP, Asus, Dell, Acer and more have announced a series of gaming laptops, ultrabooks, and chromebooks. The list is long but we’ve rounded up some of the top laptops announced at CES 2022. <cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="HP" comment="subhead" text="HP">HP</cmsannotation> HP’s 2022 laptop lineup features new models in the premium Elite series, OMED gaming series and a new Chromebook as well. The HP Elite Dragonfly G3 is a 13.5-inch Windows 11 business laptop. The HP Elite x360 1040 G9 and EliteBook 1040 G9 are thin and light ultrabooks with a 5MP camera. HP also unveiled the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook Enterprise for business, and the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook. In the gaming segment, HP upgraded the OMED 16 and OMEN 17 laptops with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs and 12th Gen Intel core processors. <cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="Dell" comment="subhead" text="Dell">Dell</cmsannotation> Dell showed off its premium XPS 13 Plus laptop with an all new design and a haptic touchpad. This laptop supports up to AMD Ryzen 9 6900HZ processor and NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15 and the ROG Flow X13 are AMD-powered laptops that can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. <cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="Acer" comment="subhead" text="Acer">Acer</cmsannotation> Acer at CES 2022 took the wraps off new Chromebooks and gaming laptops. It announced the Chromebook Spin 513, Chromebook 315, and Chromebook 314. The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 1380 processor, while the Chromebook 315 and Chromebook 314 feature the Intel Celeron processors. Acer also announced the Predator Triton 500 SE, Predator Helios 300 gaming laptops with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series laptop GPU. The MSI Raider GE76 and GE66 are the more good looking offerings with powerful specifications. MSI also announced the Katana GF76 and GF66 gaming laptops which are the most affordable from the company, and the Crosshair 15 along with the Ubisoft Rainbow Six Extraction-themed Crosshair 17 laptop. Project Hazel is just a prototype at this time, so there's no launch or pricing information. But other companies at CES announced high-tech face masks that you'll actually be able to buy. The <a href="https://www.airpophealth.com/us/">AirPop Active Plus Smart Mask</a>, for example, comes with a sensor that can monitor the wearer's breathing as well as air quality from their surroundings and alert the user when the filter needs to be replaced. Like other home robots, it can map the environment so that it knows to avoid furniture and other fixtures, LG says. Some businesses like New York City's Magnolia Bakery began using so-called <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/uv-light-cleanse-portals-used-to-kill-germs-coronavirus-2020-6">"cleanse portals" in 2020</a> that zap away germs with UV-C, and hospitals and medical facilities have also previously used the tech for sanitization purposes.But the prominence of UV-C gadgets at CES, a show that's typically focused on cutting-edge tech, suggests there's renewed interest from companies large and small in finding new ways to use technology for sanitization. Other companies focused on reducing contact with frequently touched surfaces rather than disinfection. Alarm.com's Touchless Video Doorbell can alert owners when someone is at the door either through their smartphone or a chime placed in the home after the visitor steps on a special doormat. Lenovo's new IdeaPad 5G laptop, for example, comes with 5G and runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx processor. That chip is built on the ARM architecture that's commonly found in the processors that power smartphones and tablets, similar to Apple's M1 chip.HP's Elite Dragonfly Max, meanwhile, comes with a 5-megapixel camera and four wide-range microphones that use artificial intelligence to optimize audio - an upgrade that was clearly intended for the work-from-home era.Apple now has its own take on how to improve video conferencing as it relates to the iPad Pro. The tablet comes with a new feature called Center Stage, which leverages the iPad Pro's new wide-angle front camera and machine learning to automatically keep you in the shot as you move. Since it runs on M1, it also uses Apple's image signal processor, which greatly improves color and brightness as I found when <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/apple-macbook-air-m1-review">reviewing the MacBook Air</a>. Of course, some of the additions on the newest model address the iPad Pro's shortcomings when compared to laptops. The 2021 model comes with Thunderbolt support, for example, which enables support for more powerful accessories like faster storage devices. And now that the iPad Pro runs on M1, there's a chance that app compatibility between Mac and iPad will become easier to manage since they're powered by the same chip architecture. <h2>The iPad Pro is Apple's vision for the future of computing</h2>It's unclear whether the iPad Pro has been a hit for Apple in terms of sales because the company doesn't specify those details in its earnings reports. But what has become clear is that the iPad Pro is Apple's vision for the future of the personal computer, despite the fact that it's not technically a laptop.It's the iPad Pro, not the <keyword id="162156" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="MacBook-Pro">MacBook Pro</keyword> or <keyword id="455593" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="MacBook-Air">MacBook Air</keyword>, that includes new sensors like Apple's Lidar scanner, a new 12.9-inch display that's brighter and packs in more pixels per inch, and features such as Center Stage. The MacBook Air and MacBook Pro were among the first computers to launch with Apple's M1 chip, but the iPad Pro feels like the first computer that was really designed to take advantage of it. The MacBook Air and Pro are excellent laptops, but they feel antiquated in some respects. Unlike modern Windows machines, they lack qualities like flexibility, touchscreens, nearly borderless displays, and facial recognition technology, just to name a few. The iPad Pro, however, has all of those features and more. I don't know that most people will be willing to give up their MacBooks for an iPad Pro just yet. And Apple doesn't want you to; it's clearly <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/apple-new-imac-2021-release-date-specs-price">very invested in its Mac lineup</a>. But I do think the iPad Pro is the device to keep an eye on if you really want to understand Apple's perspective as it relates to the future of computing.
