Nominees, presenters, and other attendees spend time on the red carpet and during breaks chatting with each other and sharing offscreen moments, whether that's a drink and a joke together, a meet-cute with BB-8, or a selfie from none other than Steven Spielberg (who probably takes great selfies). And many of those end up online during or after the show.
Then there are the after-parties that overtake Hollywood, including the annual Vanity Fair shindig attended by A-listers, including plenty of people who weren't even at the Oscars (those who were there usually like a change of outfit, and we can't say we blame them).
