This smartphone company is cashing in on the popularity of Avengers Endgame with a special edition phone

  • Oppo, the Chinese smartphone company, just launched a special edition Avenger Endgame themed smartphone in India.
  • The phone is exclusively available on Amazon for ₹27,990 starting May 1.
  • The limited edition Oppo F11 Pro also comes with 120GB of storage, an upgrade from the 64GB available in the normal variant.
Alongside the release of $4 on Friday in India, Oppo — one of China’s largest smartphone operators — is taking advantage of the hype by launching a limited edition Avengers Endgame themed Oppo F11 Pro.

The Amazon exclusive has been launched in India at the price of ₹27,990 and will available to order starting May 1. Starting May 4, the phone will be available offline at Oppo Stores and Oppo-authorised retail sellers.

Catering to the fans of the Avengers series, the Oppo F11 Pro Avengers Endgame edition is going to be available in a space blue finish that has hexagon patterns on the back creating a transition effect.

Not to mention the Avengers logo slapped on the back in red.

And it appears again, in silver this time, above the dual rear camera setup in silver that holds a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor.

The box has also been redecorated to match the Avengers theme and includes an collectible Avengers Endgame badge as well as a protective cover with the Captain America shield pasted on top — in addition to the usual charger and charging cable.

Aside from making it ‘look’ like an Avengers phone, Oppo has upgraded the storage from 64GB on the original Oppo F11 Pro to 128GB for the limited edition variant.

The phone launched in Malaysia on April 25 for 1,399 Malaysian Ringgit (₹24,000) but the price for India has not been disclosed yet. If $4 is anything to go by, then the Oppo F11 Pro will be fairly well received by users in India — hopefully enough to put Oppo’s $4 in the double digits.
