- Telecom operators allow users to activate do-not-disturb (DND) service to stop receiving promotional messages.

DND on Jio , Airtel and Vodafone Idea.
The process for activating DND is different for each telecom operator. Once you have activated DND on your number, you will stop getting spam messages on your device.
How to activate DND on Reliance Jio
To activate DND on your Jio number, follow the below steps:
- Download the MyJio app for Android and iOS.
- Open the app and sign in using your Jio number.
- Click on the three lines menu in the top left corner.
- Click on ‘Settings’ and then click on ‘Do not disturb’.
- You can activate ‘Full DND’ or stop messages from specific sectors such as banking, health, real estate and so on.
- Finally, click on ‘Submit’.
To activate DND on your Airtel number, follow the below steps:
- First, go to the DND page on Airtel’s website.
- Now, scroll down and click on ‘Click Here’ in the Airtel Mobile Services section.
- Enter your mobile number and click on ‘Get One Time Password’.
- Like Jio, you can either stop promotional messages from all sectors or choose specific sectors such as banking, real estate and more.
- Finally, click on ‘Submit’.
While Vodafone and Idea have now merged to form Vodafone Idea, you will still have to activate DND based on your telco.
- First, go to the DND page of Vodafone or Idea based on your SIM.
- Now, enter your number and click on ‘Send OTP’.
- Enter the OTP.
- Enter the required details such as your name and email.
- Either select full DND or select the sectors from which you want to stop receiving promotional messages.
- Finally, click on submit.
