MPBSE, this year (2020-21), had cancelled the board exams for class 10 due to the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to pass the MP board exams, students need to score at least 33% in every subject. Along with this, it is mandatory for the students to need an aggregate score of 33%, in order to clear the boards.
The results will be out on the basis of evaluation criteria set by the board. Each student will be given marks out of 100, for which the distribution of marks -- 50% weightage will be given to the pre-board exams, 30% weightage to unit tests and the rest 20% weightage to internal assessment.
Also, the past three years’ performance of schools in board results will be considered. If a student is unable to score the minimum passing marks i.e 33%, they will be given grace marks and will be promoted to the next class.
The students are also advised to keep a track for further updates on the official website of the board.
