How to register from Aarogya Setu app and cowin website if you are 18 plus

• All the adult population — 18 years and above — will now be able to get vaccinated from May 1.
• The central government has clarified that you can register from April 28.
• How to register yourself through CoWin platform or Aarogya Setu app.

India is opening up COVID-19 vaccination to everyone above the age of 18 years. These people will now be able to get vaccinated from May 1 in the third phase of the world’s largest vaccination drive. The first and second phase of inoculation included all frontline workers and citizens above the age of 45 years.

The central government has clarified that you can register from April 28, 2021. It is mandatory for everyone to register online to get the vaccination. You can register yourself either on $4 platform or $4 app from April 28, 2021.

Before going to get the vaccination, you should know that India is currently administering two vaccines i.e., Covaxin — developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech and Covishield — developed by Oxford-Astrazeneca and Serum Institute of India.

How to register yourself through $4 platform:

• Visit the website and tap/click on ‘Register/Sign In yourself’.
• Then add your mobile number to get OTP, enter your OTP number and click on ‘Verify’.
• Fill out all your information on the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page including photo ID proof, check all your details before clicking on ‘Register’.
• After registering, you will get an option to make an appointment, click on ‘Schedule’ next to the name of the person you want to schedule.
• Select your most convenient centre with date and time and then click on ‘Confirm’.
• You can register up to four names through one login and can reschedule your appointment.

How to register yourself through $4 app:

• Open the ‘Aarogya Setu’ app and click on the ‘CoWIN’ tab present on the home screen.
• Select the option ‘ Vaccination Registration’ and then add your mobile number, OTP will be generated, enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’.
• Fill out all your information on the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page including photo ID proof, check all your details before clicking on ‘Register’.
• After registering, you will get an option to make an appointment, click on ‘Schedule’ next to the name of the person you want to schedule.
• Enter your PIN code and click on ‘Search’, it will show you your nearest centres.
• Select your most convenient centre with date and time and then click on ‘Confirm’.
