India is currently embroiled in a border dispute with China after the two forces clashed in the Galwan Valley region. India has revealed that 20 soldiers were killed, and several others were injured. China on the other hand has not revealed the casualties on its side.

The border clashes evoked a sharp response from Indian social media users who took to Twitter and other social media platforms to mock China and its President Xi Jinping.

Some users used the Winnie the Pooh meme to attack Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meme began in 2013 when former US President Barack Obama met Xi Jinping. A photo of the two leaders walking together prompted users to compare the two leaders with Pooh and Tigger walking together.

Some users also took to Twitter to call for a boycott of Chinese products. A person in Surat took it as far as throwing his Chinese TV from the balcony.
