Vodafone Idea FPO allotment – How to check allotment, GMP and more

Cash-strapped Vodafone Idea is currently raising funds through a Follow on Public Offer (FPO). The telecom operator is expected to announce the allotment status of its initial public offering (FPO) on Tuesday, April 23.

The Vodafone Idea FPO opened on April 18 and closed on April 22. The price band for the FPO was ₹10 to ₹11 per share.

Average subscription

On the last day, the Vodafone Idea FPO was subscribed 6.36 times.

While the qualified institutional buyer portion was subscribed 17.56 times, the non-institutional investors portion was subscribed 4.13 times. The retail portion witnessed underwhelming participation and was subscribed 0.91 times.

Grey market premium

The shares of Vodafone Idea are currently commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of ₹0.50 per share. GMP is the premium at which shares are traded in an unofficial market before they are listed on the stock exchanges.

You can check the allotment status on the registrar’s website.

• To check the Vodafone Idea FPO allotment status, visit the registrar’s website$4.
  
• Click on ‘Select Company’ and then select ‘Vodafone Idea’.
  
• Now, enter your PAN, application number, DP / Client ID or Account number / IFSC.
  
• Click on submit.
  

You will be able to see your application status. It will display the number of shares that you have applied for and the number of shares that have been allotted to you.

To check the allotment status on BSE or NSE website:

• Go to the BSE$4.
  
• On the website, click on 'Equity' and then select ‘Vodafone Idea’ from the dropdown menu.
