What is generative AI?
AdvertisementGenerative AI is a type of technology that can create new and original content, such as text, images, videos and more. It does this by learning patterns from existing data, then using this knowledge to generate new and unique outputs.
It works by using a variety of machine learning techniques, including deep learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 supports a chatbot trained on Meta’s Llama 2. This chatbot can accept voice, text and images as inputs and can talk back to users in addition to generating text and images.
The chipset supports
“This platform unlocks a new era of generative AI enabling users to generate unique content, help with productivity, and other breakthrough use cases,” said Chris Patrick, senior vice president and general manager of mobile handsets, Qualcomm Technologies.
