DOOGEE may launch a rugged, alien-inspired phone that appears to be from the future

DOOGEE is all set to launch a new smartphone as part of the S98 series, dubbed as the S98 Pro. At a time when most smartphones feature a similar design and offer glass slabs without much change, DOOGEE is working on a refreshing design.

The company has already launched the vanilla S98 and is expected to also launch the top-end S98 Ultra in the coming weeks.

Ahead of the launch, the S98 Pro design has been revealed by $4, giving us our first look at the alien-inspired device. In addition to the design, the leak has also revealed some specifications of the device.

The main highlight of the device is its futuristic-looking design. At the back, the camera module features a design similar to the alien objects seen in sci-fi movies. The device comes with a bundled case that also features a unique design.
DOOGEE S98 Pro expected specifications
The DOOGEE S98 Pro features a rugged design and is expected to come with IP68 and IP69K rating for water and dust resistance. The device is reportedly MIL-STD-810H compliant, meaning it can withstand harsh weather conditions and drops.

The device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. At the moment, there is no information about the refresh rate of the display.

The DOOGEE S98 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box.

Coming to the camera department, the DOOGEE S98 Pro is expected to feature a triple camera setup, consisting of a 48MP primary camera, a 20MP night vision camera and a thermal imaging sensor. On the front, the device is expected to be powered by a 16MP selfie camera.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device will also support 15W wireless charging. It is expected to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The DOOGEE S98 Pro is expected to be launched next month. We should know more about the device, including its price and availability in the coming weeks.
