OnePlus Nord 2 CE: Launch date, specifications and everything else we know so far

The next generation of the OnePlus Nord CE smartphone is expected to arrive in India very soon. Leaks of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE having model number IV2201 and codename Ivan suggest that the smartphone is in the works and would soon be unveiled by the company. For those of you who may not be aware, the OnePlus Nord CE is a toned-down version of the OnePlus Nord, with a slightly lower price tag.

The leaks also give us an insight into what we can expect in terms of specifications, features and more.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE launch date and price

The upcoming Nord 2 CE phone is expected to be launched in India in early 2022. We could see the phone being unveiled late in January or by mid-February.

The OnePlus Nord 2 CE could be priced anywhere between ₹24,000 and ₹28,000.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE processor, RAM and storage

The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset. It could be equipped with 6GB to 12GB RAM.

In terms of internal storage capacity, you will get to choose between two variants — 128GB and 256GB.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE camera and display

The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a triple-camera set-up at the back, having a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, you will get a 16MP selfie shooter.

According to the leaks, the OnePlus is likely to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE software and battery

It will come pre-installed with OxygenOS 12, which is now a merger between OnePlus and Oppo, based on Android 12.

As for its battery, the phone will pack a 4,500mAh battery and support 65W fast charging.
