Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 12 series flagship smartphones in India and other global markets. The Chinese smartphone maker has been teasing the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India for some time now.

Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed a new device, which is expected to be dubbed as the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. The tipster has revealed the expected specifications of the device.

There has been no announcement from Xiaomi about the launch date of the Xiaomi 12 series. While the company is expected to make an announcement today, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to be launched in May.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is expected to run on Android 12 and feature MIUI 13 out of the box. It Is expected to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the optics, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is expected to feature a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, the device is expected to feature a 16MP selfie camera.

The device is expected to be powered by a 4,500mAh battery coupled with 67W fast charge support. It is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and come with 5G SA / NSA support.
