The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will be available from Amazon India, Mi online store and Mi Home stores from March 25 in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black colour options.

On the other hand, the Poco X2 is available exclusively from Flipkart in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple and Phoenix Red colour options.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max vs Poco X2: Display

The main highlight of the Poco X2 is its 120Hz high refresh rate display, which is a first for a budget device in the country. The high refresh rate allows smoother animations and a better viewing experience.

On the other hand, the Realme Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a regular 60Hz LCD display. It has a center punch-hole design which is similar to the recently launched Galaxy S20.

In terms of display, the Poco X2 is ahead of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max due to the 120Hz display. Apart from this, both the devices have similar displays.

Coming to the design, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max sports a premium design. It has a glass back with a metallic frame and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device sports a rectangular camera module which has a significant bump.

The Poco X2 features a 3D curved design with Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the back. The quad camera setup is placed in a rectangular module with a circle design around it. It sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Verdict

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the Poco X2 are quite close in terms of specifications and have been priced competitively. While the Redmi Note 9 Pro features a better design, bigger battery and faster charging, the Poco X2 offers a better display, powerful processor and improved cameras.
