Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a slew of gaming laptops ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, showcasing its premium offerings for 2023.

The Taiwanese tech giant has revealed new devices under Strix, Zephyrus, Flow and XG lineups. The company has unveiled a total of 13 laptops, offering many options for customers to choose from.

In addition to using the latest processors and graphics, the new laptops also come with improved Nebula displays, which means it passes the company’s criteria of fast motion, bright backlights, and vivid colors.

The laptops also offer improved Intelligent Cooling technology, featuring a larger full-width heatsink and tri-fan technology, ensuring proper dissipation, and allowing you to play games for extended durations without worrying about your laptop heating up.

Let’s take a look at the laptops launched by Asus ROG.
ROG Strix lineup
Asus has launched six new laptops under Strix, the company’s premium gaming laptop lineup.
ROG Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18


Starting with the ROG Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18, both the devices are equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processors coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics. The laptops have up to 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The company has launched the laptops in multiple configurations, offering affordable options as well.

The SCAR 16 is available in two display options – a 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ Mini LED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate.

The SCAR 18 is available in two display options as well – an 18-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and an 18-inch ROG Nebula Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Strix SCAR 17


The ROG Strix SCAR 17 laptop features a 17-inch Quad HD IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.

The laptop is equipped with up to AMD latest Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics, offering multiple hardware configurations for different budgets.

The laptop is equipped with up to 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
ROG Strix G16 and G18
The ROG Strix G16 and G18 laptops are on the affordable side when compared to the Strix Scar lineup.


The G16 and G18 laptops are equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processors coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 laptop graphics. The laptops are equipped with up to 32GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The Strix G16 is available in two display options – 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch ROG Nebula Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate.

The Strix G18 has also been launched in two display options – 18-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and an 18-inch ROG Nebula Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Strix G17
The ROG Strix G17 has been launched with a 17-inch IPS-level panel and is available in two variants – Quad HD+ option with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ option with a 144 Hz refresh rate.

The device is equipped with up to AMD latest Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics, offering multiple hardware configurations for different budgets. It offers up to 32GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
ROG Zephyrus lineup
ASUS has launched four laptops under the ROG Zephyrus lineup.
ROG Zephyrus M16


The ROG Zephyrus M16 is equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics. The laptops have up to 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The Zephyrus M16 is available in two display options – 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ Mini LED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Zephyrus G16


The ROG Zephyrus G16 is the mid-range offering in the Zephyrus lineup and is equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics. The laptop has up to 48GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The Zephyrus G16 is also offered in two display options – 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch ROG Nebula Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Zephyrus G14


The ROG Zephyrus G14 is an affordable offering in the Zephyrus lineup. It is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics. It offers up to 32GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The company has offered the laptop in three display variants – 14-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ Mini LED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate, a 14-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 14-inch Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Zephyrus Duo 16
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, the company’s premium gaming laptop that is equipped with a secondary 4K touchscreen was also unveiled by the company.

The laptop is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics. It offers up to 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The laptop is available in two display options – 16-inch Quad HD+ Mini LED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Both the variants are equipped with a secondary 4K touchscreen that allows you to perform several functions and makes multitasking easier.
ROG Flow
The company has launched three laptops under ROG Flow.
ROG Flow X13


The ROG Flow X13 is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics. It offers up to 32GB DDR5 6400 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The Flow X13 is available in two display options – 13.4-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 13.4-inch Full HD+ IPS-level panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
ROG Flow Z13

The ROG Flow Z13 is equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop graphics. It is equipped with up to 16GB DDR5 5200 MHz memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The laptop is offered in a single display variant, featuring a 13.4-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass DXC protection.
ROG Flow X16

The ROG Flow X16 is equipped with up to 13th gen Intel Core i9 processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics. It is equipped with up to 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The laptop is available in two display options – 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ Mini LED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch ROG Nebula Quad HD+ IPS-level panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
