Sony India has announced a limited-period Summer Offer, providing a discount of ₹10,000 on select models of the PlayStation 5 in the country. This comes just days after the launch of the PlayStation 5 Slim, which has not been discounted during the current sale.

The PlayStation 5, one of the most popular consoles has been discounted ahead of the much-awaited launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is expected to be launched soon.

The discount is limited to the disc edition of the regular PlayStation 5, with the digital edition being sold at the same price. For those unaware, the PlayStation 5 comes in two variants – disc and digital. The only difference between the two is that the disc edition supports physical Blu-ray discs

Sony PlayStation 5 discounted price

The Sony PlayStation 5 disc edition, which is priced at ₹54,990 is currently available for ₹44,990, a discount of ₹10,000. In addition to this, you can avail of additional bank discounts, bringing down the price by an additional ₹2-3,000.

Customers can purchase the discounted PlayStation 5 disc edition from Amazon India, Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales, Blinkit and other retail outlets across the country.

The offer is valid from April 10 to April 30, 2024, or till the stock lasts. If you have been waiting to get your hands on the console, now is the best time to do so.

Do note that the offer is not valid on the digital edition of the PlayStation 5.

PlayStation 5 Slim continues to sell without a discount

The newly launched PlayStation 5 has not been discounted and continues to sell for INR 54,990. For those unaware, the PlayStation 5 Slim, as the name suggests features a slimmer design and is 25% lighter than the standard PlayStation 5. The device also requires up to 30% less space.
