India’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) has created history and it is now all set to unleash the unknown the world of the beast i.e. the Red Planet. And en route to Mars, MOM wouldn’t like to be alone. He has already started making friends and is catching up with people across the globe through twitter.

Yes, MOM is now a personified entity, an Indian who is exploring the unexplored world of Mars and sending live updates to the ISRO centre while chit-chatting with friends.

Let’s take a look at conversations and posts that the “Mars-craft” has been posting on twitter.

It started with humour, when Mangalyaan twistingly said, "What is red, is a planet and is the focus of my orbit?" Not to be surprised, MOM fans re-tweeted it nearly 12,000 times.

Then came the rest-time. Soon after the orbiter reached its destination, MOM tweeted, "I'll be back after breakfast. Good ol' sunlight. It's good for your battery."

Later during the day, it caught up with NASA’s Curiosity Rover, which has been living on Mars for almost two year now. Both exchanged greetings.
