India’s space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been featured among the top five workplaces in India — crawling five spots from 10th position last year. This is according to the online job search platform Indeed.

“We have created a non-hierarchical, diverse and inclusive culture which speeds up our innovation and helps our customers to run at their best,” Sindhu Gangadharan, Senior Vice President and Head of SAP Labs India said after the recognition.
While MNCs continue to dominate the top 10 list, e-commerce companies — Myntra, PayTM and Flipkart — and IT service providers Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Mphasis have also been featured on the list.
“It is important for companies to work towards building an inclusive workplace and creating a culture of ownership and loyalty among their employees in order to increase overall productivity. Companies that go beyond strategic workplace programmes to create a conducive work environment have been seen to have a positive impact on the employee’s perception of the organization,” Sashi Kumar, Managing Director, Indeed India said.
