Carl Pei’s Nothing Technologies is scheduled to launch the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (1) in India on July 12. Over the months, the company chief has been hyping the device with tweets, teasers, design renders and bits of information.

The company has already shared a device image, revealing the back design of the device and still there is so much more to know about Nothing Phone (1). While the specifications and features are yet to be revealed by the company we have managed to sum up expected features, specifications and booking details for you.

Nothing Phone (1) pre-booking details and availability
According to the tipster, Mukul Sharma, Nothing Phone (1) can be pre-booked through Flipkart just by paying pre-booking amount of ₹2000.

The screenshot shared by Mukul Sharma also states that pre-booking amount of ₹2000 will be adjusted during the checkout on 12th July and the sale of Nothing Phone (1) will begin on 18th July.


At the moment, there is no official information about the price but we expect it to start at around ₹39,000.

Nothing has now revealed that the phone (1) will be available with an invite system and the company will not host an open sale or flash sales for the device.

Nothing Phone (1) initial design impressions
The Nothing Phone (1) is going to come with transparent design philosophy, giving a sneak peek of the elements used including the wireless charging coil and the Nothing branding. The phone is said to come with an aluminium frame for covering the exposed components.


Marques Brownlee, popularly known has MKBHD has shared a video of the Nothing phone (1), detailing how the notification lights work. The LEDs light up for notifications, wireless charging, capturing videos and more. The lights also work in sync with the ringtone.

However, smartphone designs have become predictable, the Nothing phone (1) is going to change that with its transparent back design.

Nothing phone (1) expected specifications
The Nothing Phone (1) is said to feature a 6.5-inch of OLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.

The device is expected to run on Android 12 along with Nothing’s custom UI. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The design also revealed that the phone will sport a dual camera setup at the back.

The device is expected to pack a 4500mAh battery with fast charging support. It may also feature a Type-C port for charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
