OnePlus Nord CE 3 leaks ahead of launch – specs, expected launch date and more

OnePlus has already launched two smartphones in India recently, including its flagship device, the OnePlus 11 and the mid-range OnePlus 11R. The company is now gearing up to launch an affordable device, dubbed as the OnePlus Nord CE 3.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 specifications have already leaked online and even its live images have surfaced online, giving us an idea about how the device will look like. The Nord CE 3 will be among the affordable devices in its lineup and will be placed below the OnePlus Nord 3, which is also expected to launch soon.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 expected launch

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to launch sometime in July 2023. The device’s predecessor, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was launched in India in February 2022.

In addition to this, the Chinese smartphone maker is also expected to launch the mid-range OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone in July 2023, so we may see a single launch event for both the devices.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 expected price in India

While there is no information about the price of the OnePlus Nord CE 3, we expect it to be priced under ₹25,000 in the country. The Nord CE 2 was launched starting at ₹23,999 in India.

Like its predecessor, the Nord CE 3 is also expected to be launched in Grey and Blue color options.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 expected specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera in the middle. It is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS 13 on top.

The Nord CE 3 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 782G chipset and will likely be available in two variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The Nord CE 2 was launched with the Dimensity 900, so we will see a good boost in performance.

Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus Nord CE is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the fort, the device is expected to be equipped with a 16MP selfie camera.

The Nord CE 3 is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, a substantial upgrade over the 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging offered with its predecessor.

OnePlus foldable phone to launch this year

OnePlus has something exciting in store for us this year as the company is expected to launch its first foldable smartphone in 2023. The company at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 confirmed that it will launch its foldable smartphone this year.

However, there is no information when the device will be launched and whether it will make its way to India. We expect the device to be launched in India as well.
