Korean smartphone maker Samsung on Monday launched its latest mid-range smartphone in its Galaxy F series, the Galaxy F55 in India. The main highlight of the device is its vegan leather back, which will be available in two colour options.

The Galaxy F55 features the same specifications as the Galaxy M55 and comes with some design changes. With companies like Motorola offering vegan leather devices in the mid-range segment, Samsung has also opted to use this finish.

Samsung Galaxy F55 price and availability

The Galaxy F55 is priced at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹32,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant.

It comes in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black colour options and will go on sale starting from today on Flipkart and the Samsung online store.

Samsung Galaxy F55 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F55 runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s One UI 6.1 on top. The device is promised to get four years of Android updates and five years of security updates. The Galaxy F55 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy F55 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It comes in three storage options – 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Galaxy F55 features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. It sports a 50MP selfie camera for video calling.

The Galaxy F55 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP67-rated for water and dust protection.
