Samsung on Monday launched the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy M55 smartphones in India.- While the Galaxy M15 is a budget device, the Galaxy M55 is a mid-range smartphone.

While the Galaxy M15 is aimed at entry-level buyers, the Galaxy M55 5G is a mid-range offering. The company had recently launched the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 smartphones in India.
The Samsung Galaxy M15 is priced at ₹13,299 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and ₹14,799 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. It comes in Blue Topaz, Celestial Blue and Stone Grey colour options.
The Galaxy M55 is priced at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹32,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. It comes in Denim Black and Light Green colour options.
The Samsung Galaxy M15 and Galaxy M55 run on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s One UI 6.1 on top. The devices are promised to get four years of Android updates and five years of security updates.
While the Galaxy M15 comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy M55 comes with a slightly bigger 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
While the Galaxy M15 is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chipset, the Galaxy M55 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The Galaxy M15 comes in two variants – 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, while the Galaxy M55 comes in three variants – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
The Galaxy M15 comes with a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device sports a 13MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy M55 on the other hand features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. It sports a 50MP selfie camera for video calling.
The Galaxy M15 is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging support, while the Galaxy M55 offers a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
