Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launched in India

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi today launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India. The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are camera centric smartphones and the company has partnered with camera giant Leica for the devices.

Xiaomi had earlier partnered with Leica for the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the first “Ultra” smartphone from the company to launch in India.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra price in India

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been launched in a single variant, priced at ₹99,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant. The device will go on sale from April 12.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra specifications

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra runs on Android 14 out of the box, with the company’s HyperOS on top. For those unaware, Xiaomi has replaced MIUI, the company’s custom skin with HyperOS.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a large 6.73-inch 2K 12-bit LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and Xiaomi Ceramic Glass protection.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It comes in a single variant, offering 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a quad camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor Hyper OIS, LED flash, Leica Summilux lens, a 50MP 122-degree Leica ultra-wide angle lens with Sony IMX858 sensor, a 50MP 3.2X Leica telephoto lens with Sony IMX858 sensor and a 50MP Leica periscope telephoto lens with Sony IMX858 sensor. On the front, the device sports a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 sensor.

The smartphone is powered by a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support.

Xiaomi 14 price in India

The Xiaomi 14 has been launched in a single variant. The device is priced at ₹69,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant.

It comes in Classic White, Jade Green and Matte Black colour options. It will be available in India starting from March 11.

Xiaomi 14 specifications

The Xiaomi 14 runs on Android 14, with the company’s HyperOS on top. The Xiaomi 14 is a compact smartphone and comes with a 6.36-inch 1.5K 12-bit LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

The Xiaomi 14 is also equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It comes in a single variant, offering 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The camera is one of the highlights of Xiaomi 14. It features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Light Fusion 900 sensor, dual pixel PDAF, OIS, Leica Summilux lens, a 50MP 15° Leica ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Leica telephoto lens with OIS.

On the front, the device sports a 32MP selfie camera with 4K 60 fps video recording.

The Xiaomi 14 is powered by a 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The device is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
