Campus recruitment at SRCC hits all-time high ⁠— the highest package offered is ₹25 lakh a year

The recruitment season 2020-21 of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), which is located in north campus of Delhi University ⁠— is also ranked among the top 10 colleges list by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ⁠— observed a record of 350 plus offers extended by recruiters in more than 15 sectors with highest compensation of ₹25,00,000 per annum.

The highest package offered was ₹25 lakh per year, the average package was ₹8,31,000 and the median package offered was ₹6,54,000.

According to the data report shared by the Placement cell of SRCC, the recruitment drive registered a record 32.34% increment in the gross value of offers to a massive ₹30.48 crores.

The report also highlights that there was a 29.62% surge in the number of offers given by companies to SRCC students despite COVID-19.

The top-recruiting companies were McKinsey & Company, Bain Capability Network, Dalberg Advisors, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Accenture Strategy, Fischer Jordan.

The internship season 2020-21 also recorded a significant result with the highest stipend offered was a whopping ₹1,50,000 per month, while the average stipend offered was ₹34,000 per month. Companies like Hindustan Unilever, DE Shaw, EY were top internship recruiters this season who extended offers across various domains.

“Though we were a bit sceptical initially due to the economic recession, our fears turned out to be unfounded as the number of placement recruiters and the number of offers reached an all-time high. Moreover, as the competition for hiring the best talent intensifies, many recruiters have resorted to the PPO route, leading to 22 PPOs in this season, a milestone in itself.” said Ansh Goyal, Chief Secretary of SRCC’s Placement cell.
