How to download Instagram Stories

Instagram Stories is one of the most popular features on the app with around 500 million people using it daily. You can post photos, videos, GIFs, songs, links and many other things that stay on your profile for 24 hours and disappear after that. Instagram allows you to do a lot of things with Stories but one thing it still doesn’t allow is to download other people’s Stories using the app or the website.

Just like Stories, you can’t download posts either on Instagram. There is an option to save your Stories and posts on your phone but it’s not available for photos and stories for accounts of other users. But as expected, there is a hack or workaround to download Instagram Stories.

The procedure is quite simple and requires you to follow just a few steps.

So here’s how you can download Instagram Stories:

• First open the website storysaver.net on a web browser.
• Scroll down and enter the username of the account.
• The website will show you the number of Stories currently active on that account.
• You can simply select the ‘save’ button to download the Story.

Do note that this will only work for users who have a public account. You cannot download stories of private accounts.

There’s also an option to download highlights which are archives of Stories. Here too, the website will show all the Story highlights that you can scroll through and download whichever you want. You can access the site on your phone, tablet or computer. Do note that this, like other Instagram Story downloaders, is a third-party platform and not associated with Instagram.
