Upcoming smartphone launches in India in July 2021

Several companies are expected to launch their smartphones in India in July across different price segments. From budget phones to upper mid-range offerings, buyers will be able to choose from a wide range of options from companies like OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, Xiaomi, Samsung, and more.

With India on track to open up once again after a few weeks of COVID lockdowns, smartphone launches are set to gather pace. Nearly 50 smartphones were launched through June, May, March and April this year.

OnePlus Nord 2

The OnePlus Nord 2 will be amongst the major smartphone launches this month. It could be powered by the upper mid-range Dimensity 1200 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM. In terms of imaging, it could feature a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Realme GT 5G

The Realme GT 5G launched in China back in March, but it is finally expected to make its way to India this month. It features a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the primary highlight is the Snapdragon 888 chipset powering the phone.

Oppo has officially started teasing the launch of the Reno 6 and the Reno 6 Pro in India. Both the smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart, with the launch expected to be sometime in mid-July.

The Samsung Galaxy F22 is all set to launch on July 6. It sports a 6.4-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a 48MP quad-camera setup and a massive 6,000mAh battery.

The Vivo V21 Pro could launch towards the end of July, according to an industry insider. Going by the specifications of the Vivo V21, the V21 Pro could also sport a Full HD+ display, a Dimensity chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, among other things.

The Poco F3 GT could be the Xiaomi sub-brand’s next major smartphone launch in India. It is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset powering the phone. It could feature a triple camera setup on the back, but detailed information about the setup is not known yet.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

Although the Mi 11 Ultra has been launched in India, the first sale of the smartphone is expected to start this month. It is Xiaomi’s latest flagship and features a 6.81-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
