Fast charging technology in smartphones has come a long way and smartphone companies have started offering devices that support charging at over 100W, allowing you to fully charge your smartphone in just a few minutes.

Vivo is reportedly working on a new smartphone that will offer 200W fast charging, which is significantly higher than the 150W fast charging being offered on the OnePlus 10R 5G and the Realme GT Neo 3.

The OnePlus 10R 5G and Realme GT Neo 3 are equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and can be fully charged in 17 minutes and 15 minutes respectively. Considering this, the smartphone from Vivo should go from 0 to 100% in around 10 minutes.

The report also adds that the smartphone will offer a battery with over 4,000mAh capacity. This means that you don’t have to worry about the device being equipped with a small battery.

At the moment, there is no information about which device will be equipped with 200W fast charging and there’s no information about other specifications of the device either.

As it is a flagship smartphone, we expected it to offer a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz or higher refresh rate and be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

We should know more about the device and the 200W fast charging technology from the company in the coming days.
