  6. If the window did not pop-up, you can alternatively access the photos on your phone by clicking on Windows Explorer, and selecting “This PC” from the menu.
  7. Here, you can find the connected phone in devices.
  8. You can select it and choose the phone’s internal storage.
  9. You can access the photos in the “DCIM” or “Pictures” folder.
  10. You can just copy and paste any photos on your phone to your laptop.
  11. When you are done, you can eject your phone from the laptop and unplug the USB cable.
Transfer photos from Android phone to Apple laptop via USB Cable:
To transfer photos from an Android phone to MacOS laptop, you must be using Mac OS X 10.5 and up.
  1. You will need to download and install “Android File Transfer” on your laptop.
  2. You will need to open “Android File Transfer”.
  3. Unlock your phone and connect it to the laptop using a compatible USB cable.
  4. You will then have to tap the "Charging this device via USB" pop-up at the bottom of your screen.

  6. An “Android File Transfer” window will pop up.
  7. Alternatively, if the window does not pop up, you can find it in Finder > Application and click on “Android File Transfer” to open it.
  8. Here you can drag the photos to your laptop you wish to transfer.
  9. Unplug the USB cable once the transfer is complete.

To transfer photos from an iPhone to Windows OS laptop, you must have iTunes installed.

  2. Unlock the iPhone and you may see a pop-up notification that asks if you trust the computer, select “Trust”.
  3. On Windows 8 and 10, you can click the start button and open the Photos app in your Windows laptop.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer using a compatible USB cable.
  2. Unlock the iPhone and you may see a pop-up notification that asks if you trust the computer, select “Trust”.
  3. The Photos app will prompt automatically. Alternatively, you can open it by clicking the Photos icon on your laptop.
  4. You can choose where you would like to move the photos to from the “Import to” menu at the top of your screen.
  5. You can also choose the option to delete the photos from your phone after import.
  6. To import new photos from your phone you can select the “Import All New Items” option.
  7. Alternatively, you can click on “Import Selected” to transfer images of your choice.
  8. You can view the photos in the Photos app on your Apple laptop.

  1. Go to your phone’s email app and compose a mail.
