How to recharge your Jio mobile number

Reliance Jio took the telecom industry by storm after launching its operations in September 2016. The company offered unlimited 4G data and voice calling benefits at a fraction of the price offered by the incumbent operators.

As per a report, Jio is India’s largest telecom operator with 369 million mobile subscribers in November 2019, thanks to the customers that are porting out of Vodafone Idea. If you are a Jio user, keep reading to know all the ways you can recharge your number.

Recharge your Jio mobile number from Jio website

• Go to Jio’s website and click on ‘Recharge’ at the top right corner.
• Now, click on ‘Mobile and JioFi, enter your number and click on submit.
• Now, go through the plans and select the plan you want to recharge with.
• Select the mode of payment and click on ‘Pay now’.

Recharge your Jio mobile number from MyJio app

• Download and install the MyJio app on your Android and iOS smartphone.
• Open the app and click on ‘Proceed’.
• Click on ‘Login with SIM’ or enter your mobile number and click on ‘Generate OTP’ if you are on a mobile network.
• Click on the three lines menu at the top left corner and then click on ‘Recharge’.
• Click on ‘Recharge your number’.
• Now, go through the plans and select the plan you want to recharge with.
• You can apply a ₹50 discount coupon by clicking on ‘Apply’.
• Select the mode of payment and click on ‘Pay now’.

Apart from Jio’s website and app, you can also use third party apps such as Paytm, Freecharge, PhonePe, Google Pay and Amazon to recharge your Jio number.
