The gaming PC that Rep. Ilhan Omar used to stream video games with AOC is almost certainly more powerful than yours
- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hosted her debut live stream on the gaming service Twitch on Tuesday night, which drew over 430,000 concurrent viewers and nearly 5 million overall views.
- AOC streamed the popular multiplayer game "Among Us" alongside fellow "squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar.
- While the two were playing, Rep. Omar tweeted out a photo of her gaming setup. She later released the full list of specs for the gaming PC, which is owned by her deputy communications director, and it's immensely powerful.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota held one of the highest-viewed Twitch streams ever on Tuesday night, with over 430,000 concurrent viewers and nearly 5 million overall views.
It was so popular that it edged out NASA to take the sixth spot in all-time viewership on the streaming platform.
AOC and Omar played "Among Us," a PC and smartphone game that's been available since 2018 but has seen a recent resurgence of interest due in no small part to Twitch streamers playing it en masse. Though "Among Us" doesn't require a beefy, powerful gaming PC to run, Omar brought just that to the stream.
Rep. Omar's gaming PC doesn't just look the part; with RGB lights and a transparent case — it's got some serious hardware inside: A GTX 2060 Super GPU, an Intel i7 processor, a whopping 32GB of memory, and six terabytes of solid state storage. She revealed the full spec list in a tweet on Tuesday night:

It is, by any standard, a very powerful gaming PC.
Notably, it isn't Omar's own computer, but that of her deputy communications director, Isi Baehr-Breen. "My life will never get better than watching @IlhanMN win a video game while gaming on my pc," he wrote on Twitter.
Omar used the beefy PC to great effect in "Among Us," as evidenced by this clip of the stream shared by fellow streamer Maia "mxmtoon" after the games were over:
