Here comes consumer confidence ...

Economists are expecting the Conference Board's Consumer Confidence index for April to climb to 102.2 from 101.3 in March.
Last month, the index crushed expectations, beating the consensus forecast of 96.4.
In a morning note, Bank of America Merril Lynch economists wrote: "The pace of hiring lost momentum in March and gas prices have continued to increase in April. Both of these factors may weigh on confidence somewhat. Still, this expected level is only a moderate contraction from recent months and significantly higher than the level in 2014."
