The 10 best fine dining restaurants in the world, according to TripAdvisor

The UK is home to three of the world's 10 top-rated fine dining restaurants, according to new data from TripAdvisor.

As part of the TripAdvisor 2016 Travellers' Choice Awards, the travel planning and booking site on Tuesday revealed the top-rated fine dining restaurants in the world, Europe, and the UK.

An algorithm was used to determine the winners, taking into account the quantity and quality of reviews for restaurants around the world over a 12-month period.

While Spain took the top spot for the second year in a row, the UK featured in the top 10 more than any other country.
