17. Loughborough University — Loughborough is best known for the quality of its sporting teams, but the university's business degrees are highly valued and, as a result, its tricky to get a place. Average entrants to Loughborough's business degree have 418 UCAS points.
= 16. Robert Gordon University — You might not have heard of this university in Aberdeen, but it was voted as the UK's best modern university in 2013. The average entrant has 422 UCAS points, although the uni's business school places just 32nd in the Complete University Guide's overall ranking.

14. University of Surrey — Surrey is another university that may not have a huge international reputation, but is incredibly hard to get into. Entrants have an average of 425 UCAS points and it ranks 12th on the list of the UK's best business and management degrees.
13. University of Bristol — Bristol's business school scored an impressive 88 points out of 100 for its business and management degrees. That was only good enough for 25th overall in the ranking. The average entrant this year had 429 UCAS points.
12. University of Leeds — Leeds' Business School was recently voted one of the best places in Europe to do an MBA and that prestige is reflected in just how hard it is to get accepted. Entrants gained 431 UCAS points on average.
11. University of Aberdeen — Aberdeen is the fourth hardest university in Scotland to get into when it comes to business and management degrees, but 11th across the UK as a whole. Entrants scored an average of 460 UCAS points.
10. University of Edinburgh — Beating out its rival in the north, Edinburgh was 16th overall in the Complete University Guide's business degree ranking, and 10th in terms of entry standards. 476 UCAS points was the average score for students.
9. Durham University — Ranking as the most difficult place in the north of England, Durham business and management students had an average of 477 UCAS points. But you get a lot of bang for your buck — while it's the 9th hardest to get into, if you get accepted you'll be studying at the 5th best business school in the UK.
8. University of Exeter — Nestled in Devon in the south west of England, Exeter's newly refurbished business school saw students hold an average of 487 UCAS points to get a place.
7. University of Bath — Another university in the south west, Bath is the 2nd best business school in the UK, but only the 7th most difficult to get into. Average entrants have 488 UCAS points.
6. University of Strathclyde — Strathclyde is the second hardest university in Scotland to study business and management, with a huge 494 UCAS points clocking in as the average entry standard.
5. London School of Economics — LSE is another university that is, proportionally speaking, easy to get into when it comes to business and management. Despite being the 3rd best degree in the UK, it is only 5th most difficult in terms of entry standards. The average entry standard is 495 UCAS points.
4. University College London — UCL fell just short of the 500 point mark when it comes to UCAS points needed to get into its business school, with 499 required on average. That makes its the 2nd hardest business school to get into in London, and 3rd most difficult in England.
3. King's College London — London's most difficult business school to get into, KCL students needed an average of 501 UCAS points to get a place on a business and management course.
2. University of Warwick — With alumni of the university including the Bank of England's chief economist Andy Haldane, its not surprise that doing a business degree at Warwick is no easy feat. Entrants required an average of 518 UCAS points this year.
