Apple CEO Tim Cook is in India and the rivals, obviously, have eyes set on him. But, there is one rival that is closely monitoring Cook’s every move in India and it is Samsung.
Samsung Electronics is keeping a watch on Cook’s Indian itinerary and gauging Apple’s India plans.
The battle has intensified between Apple and Samsung as the iPhone maker is eying India with hopes and Samsung is keeping the competition in mind.
As per reports, daily reports are being sent to South Korea on Cook’s meetings, visits, etc.
"Updates are being sent on Cook's moves, both through email and WhatsApp," said one of the people cited above. Samsung headquarters is extremely keen to know as much detail (as possible) since this is one of the longest visits which Cook is doing in any country recently and is tapping all possible sources for information,” ET quoted a source as saying.
