A presidential candidate lost the password to his Facebook page
Bloomberg reported Wednesday that Chafeee's political operation is looking to access his old gubernatorial campaign fan page in advance of his expected presidential announcement later in the day.
Debbie Rich, a Chafee spokeswoman, told Bloomberg that his team "has lost track of the log-in credentials to the Facebook page that staffers started and managed for Chafee as governor." Rich also said the older page "seems to be attracting more attention than the page he has set up for 2016, so now they'd like to merge the two."
Chafee, who also served in the Senate as a Republican and governor as an independent, is widely seen as a long-shot against the Democratic front-runner, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
