Breaking News: Microsoft’s Satya Nadella launches Skype Lite in India, talks about Cloud

“We think about people and also institutions. We aspire to create,” said Nadella in his keynote address during the conference titled ‘Future Decoded’.
Nadella said investments were made in Cloud in India 17 months ago. “It is a global and trusted Cloud. It is fascinating to see breadth and depth of digital transformation. It is shaping businesses, private and public sectors and daily lives of the common man,” said Nadella.
He said Microsoft aspired India should become a digitally rich nation and help the economy and society.
During his address, Nadella launched Skype Lite in India. It is only 13 MB and has bots for more productivity.

You can soon enter your Aadhaar number over Skype. The service can be extended for government services as well. The Aadhaar data will be deleted automatically from the device once the "Aadhaar Verified" Skype chat is over.
Meanwhile, Nadella said during his Indian visit he met several entrepreneurs innovating in financial-technology services, retail, healthcare, etc.
