The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a revised closure report before special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar in the coal block allocation scandal. The case involves Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla and former coal secretary PC Parakh.

"Investigating officer (IO) DSP KL Moses has filed a revised final report which is stated to be detailed and comprehensive... The final report is also in the nature of a closure report. Special public prosecutor RS Cheema seeks some time to advance arguments... Put up for November 10," the judge said.

The CBI also filed some additional documents seized during the investigation. Cheema said, "Now, we are taking precaution and the agency will see that each and every document is filed in the court."

On September 12, the court had asked the CBI, which had filed a closure report on August 28, why it was in a hurry to close the case.
