Coolpad compares its latest phone priced at Rs. 13,999 to iPhone 7, plans to launch premium phone in India in 2017

So far in India, the company has stuck with mid to low range phones like most other Chinese smartphone makers in the country but Coolpad is now looking to launch its first premium phone in India in 2017 at the price of Rs. 40,000 and upwards. The company is also looking at and open to partnership in the India market with other smartpohone makers or even telecom operators much like it’s presence in China where it’s presence includes online and offline retail, operator partnerships.
Coolpad is also expected to announce a big partnership in the India market at the CES 2016 in China, which is likely to take shape in 2017 and will help the company to grow in India.
