As he has proven so adept at doing, Donald Trump isn't wasting an opportunity to turn a possibly rattling incident into publicity for his presidential campaign.

On Monday, Gawker published one of the real-estate magnate's cell-phone numbers.

After downplaying the release of Trump's number, saying that the reality television star has "several cell phone numbers," the Trump campaign turned the stunt into an opportunity. Trump's account on Tuesday tweeted out a phone number for supporters to call.

The number goes straight to a voicemail where Trump promotes his website and Twitter account, and asks callers to come to his campaign events.

Gawker's decision to publish Trump's cell-phone number came after Trump mocked Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) at a campaign rally in Graham's home state and read out his personal cell-phone number.

Graham responded by producing a video on IJReview in which he destroyed cell phones through various methods.
