Georgia police said Wednesday they responded to reports of shots fired at a high school, and took a teacher into custody who may have been barricaded in a classroom.
The Dalton Police Department said on Twitter that no children were injured or in danger.
They tweeted that there was a "barricaded subject in a classroom" believed to be a teacher, and later added that the teacher was in custody.
Dalton High School is locked down and the school was evacuated, police said.
