The final reading on consumer confidence from the University of Michigan is set for release at the top fo the hour.

The preliminary reading came in at 92.9 and Friday's final number is expected to come in at 93.0.

Earlier this week, New York president Bill Dudley said that this reading could be a place where any consumer concerns about the recent stock market volatility show up in an economic data report.

And so we'll be on the lookout for that, though notably St. Louis Fed president James Bullard said on Friday that recent market volatility is unlikely to change the Fed's outlook on the US economy.

We'll be back with the live numbers when they cross.
