Google CEO Sundar Pichai held an interactive session at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University.
Pichai, while addressing a jam packed arena, said India is a unique land and people are interested in technology.
Harsha Bhogle, who was the moderator of the session, threw an array of questions to Pichai.
Speaking about being inSilicon Valley , Pichai said, “I always loved technology and while growing up. I had dreams of Silicon Valley. I used to read about it, hear stories from my uncle.”
When asked about how Google stays relevant in the day and age, Pichai said, “In the tech world, everything changes at a fast pace. You have to reinvent yourself. India is an amazing, vast country and in trends of future will come from India.”
One of the interesting questions that Pichai answered was on how Google maintains the numero uno post.
“We are always innovating and building products for the future. Constantly thinking about what to do next, Android is here and doing good and we always think on what next. We think about virtual reality, constantly thinking about pushing forward. We have always had an ambitious mission. We want to do even better job. Do much better with Artificial Intelligence and machines,” said Pichai.
