Italian media says Paul Pogba will sign for Manchester United 'in a matter of hours'
The French international's deal with United seems to have taken forever, but it looks like Pogba is slowly making his way to the club from the US - via a quick stop in New York City.
Pogba has been on an American vacation since Euro 2016 - taking in Los Angeles and Las Vegas - while rumours of his record-breaking transfer to United from Juventus reach fever-pitch.
He posted a picture on his Instagram account on Tuesday showing him doing a round of kick-boxing with the caption "afternoon sweat #newyork":
It has still not been confirmed exactly how much United will pay for Pogba, but is expected to exceed the record-breaking £85 million ($113 million) Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in 2013.
Some have already suggested the Frenchman is overpriced, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger saying the figures involved were "completely crazy," and ex-United player Paul Scholes claiming Pogba would be a "waste of money".
But United manager Jose Mourinho seems set on creating one of the best league sides ever, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan already signed.
Pogba will arrive just in time to start the new Premier League season. United's first game is at Bournemouth on August 14.
