LinkedIn Reaches The Milestone, Publishes 1 Million Member Posts In early 2014, LinkedIn, which is a business-oriented social networking service, had opened up its publishing platform to its member from the US. It has more than 230 million members from all English-speaking countries of the world, and this even includes India.

Earlier, only select Influencers could publish long-form content on LinkedIn. However, things are no more the same. Now, posting on LinkedIn is proving to be an easy task for its members, wherein they can share their knowledge and information in their respective fields.
When one publishes a post on LinkedIn, it becomes part of your profile, gets shared within your network, and reaches millions.

When we focus our attention on India, we notice that IT and Services’ is one of the most active channels, where people follow and post within their networks. The other active channels are: Computer Software, Internet, Management and Consulting, Marketing and Advertising and Staffing and Recruiting channels.

Some of the prominent posts from India were: “Money Can’t Be the Only Talent Hook” by Prabir Jha, “In Defense of Uber in India” by Sriram Krishnan, “How 2015 Can Change India” by Kris Gopalakrishnan, “Can Brand India Reach for the Stars Next?” by Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.
LinkedIn is also expected to enable users to publish posts in the languages which it currently supports. This would allow users to consume, create and engage further within their current networks as well as channels.
