Lloyd Blankfein tweeted a picture of himself from his Harvard days
Lloyd Blankfein is new to Twitter, but he's already tweeted out a throw-back-Thursday.
The 62-year-old CEO of financial powerhouse Goldman Sachs tweeted a picture of his college ID Thursday morning to commemorate the start of the new school year.
As you can tell, he looked a bit different back then. Take a look:
Blankfein earned a scholarship to Harvard after graduating as valedictorian of his high school class.
After his undergrad career, Blankfein attended Harvard Law School. He practiced law for a while but ultimately went into finance. He got his start at J. Aron & Company, a commodity trading firm, after law school. He joined Goldman's ranks when J. Aron & Company was acquired by the investment bank in 1981.
During his time at Goldman, he led the Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) division and served as president and COO.
He's been the CEO of Goldman Sachs since 2006.
