Mercedes Brings GL 63 AMG To India

The SUV market in India has exploded in recent years. We have seen many luxury SUV’s coming to the Indian shores and the next one to make it to our side of the globe is Mercedes GL 63 AMG. This lovely mammoth brings extreme performance combined with top of the class cabin luxury to the Indian roads.

The vehicle is available with a 5.5 litre V8 BITURBO engine, which can reach speed of 100 KMPH in staggering 4.9 seconds. The top speed of the car is electronically limited at 250 KMPH. The car is pretty neat to look at and looks classy from both the inside and outside. This was expected, it is Mercedes after all.

Mercedes have taken special care as far as safety is concerned. Night vision assist comes to GL 63 AMG along with active control system for roll stabilisation. The car is priced at Rs 1.66 crores (Ex-showroom Mumbai) and is one of the most expensive SUV’s to hit Indian tarmac.
