Second-year outfielder Kevin Kiermaier has already established himself as one of the best defensive outfielders in baseball with numerous spectacular catches for the Tampa Bay Rays and a strong throwing arm to boot. But it wasn't until Monday night that he had his first signature catch and it was a beauty.

Kiermaier leaped high over the center field wall at Baltimore's Camden Yards to take a home run away from Manny Machado of the Orioles, holding on to the ball despite crashing into the wall.

The catch was reminiscent of a similar grab made by Mike Trout in the same ballpark three years ago. The catch by Trout is generally regarded as the best catch in recent memory.
